NFL silly season (aka free agency) is upon us.

The GIST: Canadian football fans missed out on an entire season of CFL action last year, but former Calgary Stampeder Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t going to let that happen again.

The GIST: Last week was a sad one for Canadian sports fans, after we lost Walter Gretzky and Chris Schultz in a matter of hours of each other. Let’s take a moment to remember these two sports giants.

The GIST: With a 31–9 win over the reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs, the underdog Tampa Bay Buccaneers are your Super Bowl champions...and of course we have quarterback (QB) Tom Brady to blame/thank.

The GIST: It was hyped as an epic QB battle, pitting the GOAT against the Kid, and the 43-year-old showed, once again, that age is just a number. Hey Google, play “7 rings” by Ariana Grande.
