A bracket challenge for college football's national championship
Why let college basketball have all the fun? In honor of the second-ever 12-team College Football Playoff, The GIST is launching its second annual College Football Bracket Challenge — so you can have some skin in the game. Ready to school the rest of the field?

How to play
It's not just a trophy on the line — here's how you can enter for a chance to win some sweet prizes and eternal glory.
- If this is your first time filling out a bracket with The GIST, head to the top of this page and create an account. If you've filled one out for previous tournaments, sign in.
- Navigate to the "Make your picks" page and pick your winners by clicking on the team you think will advance. You can enter up to three brackets — but make sure you fill them out completely.
- Points are awarded for every series winner you pick correctly. The value increases per round (first-round games are worth 2 Points, quarter-finals are worth 4 Points, semifinals are worth 6 Points, and the national championship game is worth 8 points).
- Any GISTer who predicts the combined final score of the championship-winning game (Team 1's points + Team 2's points) will receive an additional 5 points.
- The deadline to submit a bracket is Friday, December 19th at 7:00 p.m. ET, one hour before the first round officially begins. Better get on it.
