The GIST: Week 7 college football is going coast-to-coast with ranked showdowns. At least one undefeated record will bite the dust, and at least one underperforming team will be redeemed.

No. 8 Oregon Ducks (5-0) vs. No. 7 Washington Huskies (5-0), 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC): This week’s College GameDay has everything. A Top-10 matchup between legendary rivals? Check. Two Heisman-caliber quarterbacks (QB) in Oregon’s Bo Nix and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.? Check. Immaculate drip, Prince references, and actor Joel McHale? Check, check, check.

No. 10 USC Trojans (6-0) vs. No. 21 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-2), 7:30 p.m. ET (NBC): Two early-season powerhouses are limping into one of the sport’s oldest and bitterest rivalry games. USC barely escaped Arizona in triple-overtime (OT) last week, and ND was stunned by now–No. 14 Louisville. Who will bounce back is anyone’s guess.

No. 25 Miami Hurricanes (4-1) vs. No. 12 UNC Tar Heels (5-0), 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC): Both squads should be undefeated, but Alix Earle’s team Miami massively f***ed-up against Georgia Tech last week. UNC, on the other hand, seems unstoppable with QB Drake Maye at the helm, and he’ll have a talented new wide receiver in Tez Walker, who’s finally able to suit up.

No. 18 UCLA Bruins (4-1) vs. No. 15 Oregon State Beavers (5-1), 8 p.m. ET (FOX): The Bruins broke into the national rankings when they upset then–No. 13 Washington State last week, and their lockdown defense should do well against the Beavs’ impressive run game.

On a heavier note, our hearts go out to the Northwestern State Demons, yet another community affected by horrific and senseless gun violence with the death of football player Ronnie Caldwell yesterday. Sending love.
